The Jeu de Boules court at Capfun de Bongerd
Midden op het park, omringd door onze andere leuke faciliteiten, liggen de gezellige jeu-de-boules-banen. De perfecte plek voor een ontspannen potje pétanque met familie, vrienden of nieuwe vakantievriendjes. De banen bevinden zich direct naast het terras van het Pannenkoekenhuis van Wafelien, dus combineer je spel moeiteloos met een drankje of iets lekkers tijdens de openingstijden.

Boules are available at the park reception or, during opening hours, at Wafelien's Pancake House.

Jeu de Boules is super easy and, above all, great fun!
But did you know that the rules are sometimes slightly different than you might think? Don't worry, we'll explain it to you.
Number of players
Je kunt met zoveel mensen spelen als je wilt, maar we raden je maximaal 6 personen per baan aan voor de beste spelervaring.
Game setup
Choose your team setup:
- 1 against 1: Each player gets 3 boules
- 2 against 2: Each player gets 3 boules
- 3 against 3: Each player gets 2 boules
The goal
Simple: throw your boule as close as possible to the small ball (the jack).
How to play
1 – Throw the jack! The starting player throws the small ball into the field.
2 – Throw your first boule and aim for the jack.
3 – It's the opponent's turn! They try to get their boule closer or knock yours away.
4 – Do they succeed? Then it's your team's turn again. Do they fail? Then they can keep throwing until they get closer.
5 – This continues until all boules have been played.
Scoring
The winning team scores as many points as the number of boules that are closer to the but than the opposing team's best boule.
Additional rules
- The team that won the previous round starts the next round.
- The throwing circle is reset.
- The first team to reach 13 points wins the game.
- If the but flies outside the court, we start the round again.
- And remember: whoever loses... rakes!
